A UK software engineer had relocated to Amsterdam under a Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant (HSMP) permit, working for a major technology company. The Dutch mortgage market allows very high LTVs (up to 100%) and assesses income generously, but requires a Dutch financial adviser for the application.
Our Solution
Doulton co-ordinated with a Dutch hypotheekadviseur (mortgage adviser) required under Dutch law. The HSMP permit and technology employment were positively assessed. Dutch NHG (National Mortgage Guarantee) was available given the loan size, reducing the rate further.
The Outcome
