How to Apply via Doulton Bridging Finance
Doulton Bridging Finance acts as a whole-of-market aircraft finance broker. We package your case, present it to Lombard and handle the process from initial enquiry to drawdown - at no cost to you (broker fee paid by the lender on completion).
- 1Submit your enquiry using the form below or call us directly
- 2We gather aircraft details, financial information and your structure preference
- 3We submit a packaged case to Lombard (and simultaneously test other lenders if appropriate)
- 4Credit decision received - typically hours to days
- 5Legal and survey phase, then drawdown
Key Considerations
- Chattel mortgage structure: Lombard takes a registered mortgage over the aircraft
- Ownership transfers to borrower at outset (unlike HP where ownership transfers at end)
- Charter use acceptable provided AOC holder is the borrower or lender-approved operator
- N-registered aircraft can be financed but require additional legal work
- Lombard's aviation team is based in the UK - decisions made domestically
- Early settlement permitted; redemption fees may apply
