FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What types of commercial vehicle can you finance?

We finance the full range: vans and LCVs, rigid lorries, articulated tractor units, trailers, tipper trucks, refrigerated vehicles, tankers, HIAB cranes and electric commercial vehicles. Both new and used vehicles, from single assets to fleet programmes.

How long does commercial vehicle finance approval take?

For straightforward applications with established businesses and good credit, decisions can come within hours and funds can be released within 24–48 hours. More complex cases or higher-value transactions may take 3–5 working days.

Do you finance commercial vehicles for new businesses?

Yes. While start-up financing is more restrictive, we have lenders who will consider new businesses, including sole traders and recently formed limited companies. A higher deposit (typically 20%+) and a director personal guarantee are usually required.

Can I get commercial vehicle finance with bad credit?

Yes in many cases. We work with specialist adverse credit lenders who consider applications from businesses with CCJs, defaults or prior insolvencies. The rate will be higher and the deposit requirement larger, but finance is often still available.

What is the minimum finance amount you arrange?

We typically work with finance from £5,000 upwards, though our sweet spot is £20,000 to £5 million. For very small amounts, a business loan or overdraft may be more cost-effective.

Asset finance for business purposes is not regulated by the FCA. Rates shown are indicative as at October 2026 and depend on credit profile, term, vehicle and deposit. We act as a credit broker, not a lender. Your vehicle may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments.
